China has auctioned off 1.79 million tons of corn from his Government reserve last Friday, which will be communicated to the official website of the Government.
Of the offered volume, about 60% were sold, so the national grain trade center. The corn was offered at the price equivalent 239,7 USD/ton. 1.75 million tonnes came from local production and 34.745 tons were importing corn.
This auction is the second after the Government decided in March to end maize intervention and gradually to reduce the reserves.
