Corn is being sold unchanged

The March date for corn on Euronext/Matif left the trading session unchanged yesterday. On the CBoT, however, corn prices went south. The most traded December date closed with a loss of 3.75 US cents/bu at 475 US cents/bu (equivalent to 176.8 euros/t). The US harvest continues to have a negative impact on price developments. In addition, the better growing conditions in South America are putting a strain on the market as a whole. In Argentina in particular, farmers are particularly satisfied with the current rainfall. In a USDA attache for Argentina, the ministry expects a harvest of 53 million tons. The WASDE in October estimated 55 million tonnes. The private analysis and trading company StoneX slightly lowered its forecast for the US corn harvest. There are slightly rising trends on the CBoT this morning before the trading session.
