Corn remains on the uptrend in Paris. Growers everywhere are very worried about the corn harvest. The maize stocks are not looking good, especially in the southern growing regions and in Germany and France. Bumper crops will no longer produce these stocks. On the CBoT, the prices for corn developed exactly the opposite way on Wednesday. The contracts lost up to 5.25 US cents/bu. The weather forecast for the Corn Belt is looking a little better. The chance of rain has increased significantly. Export sales will have an impact on trade today. Market expectations differ widely. US ethanol inventories have continued to fall and production remains low, up slightly from last week. Pre-market losses again today.
