Maize went up again very clearly yesterday. The most traded November date climbed by EUR 6.50 to EUR 313.25 per ton. A look at the stocks shows that the development of corn varies from region to region. Differences between fields that have been encountered and those that have not yet received additional irrigation are clearly visible. For the coming days, dry weather and rising temperatures are still reported for Central Europe. The weather also shapes trading on the CBoT. Meteorologists continue to expect warm and dry weather for the Corn Belt, although the forecasts now assume slightly less hot weather. However, there is still no sign of rain. Market participants are looking forward to today's WASDE with excitement. Before the market, the contracts on the eCBoT are not very flexible.
