On both exchanges, the corn contracts are burdened by the weak specifications for wheat. On the CBoT, the weaker soybean prices are also having an impact on corn trading. In Paris, the most traded March date went down by EUR 5.75 to EUR 272.25/t. On the local cash markets, weaker prices have also recently been observed with low turnover. Rainfall is also forecast for Argentina in the coming days, which will benefit maize sowing. US export shipments of 727,000 tons were in line with expectations, but are around 7 percent lower than in the previous week. Pre-market, the eCBoT is showing green signs again for corn contracts today. However, the losses of the previous day will not be made up for by a long shot.
