Corn has headed south on the back of Turkey, Russia and the UN deal on Ukraine's grain exports. In Paris, the most traded November date lost EUR 16.00 per tonne, but remained above the EUR 300 per tonne mark. On the CBoT, the corn prices also followed the guidelines of the wheat trade. In addition, better weather forecasts and more precipitation in the main growing areas caused selling pressure. The grain exchange in Argentina reports a harvest progress of 67%. In total, corn has been planted on an area of 7.3 million hectares in the South American country.
