Corn interrupts the rise of the past few days and falls slightly on yesterday's view. The heat wave in Central Europe is clearly affecting the plants in the fields. In many places, regulations also restrict irrigation. In its first harvest report yesterday, the farmers' association also waited for a lower grain maize production than initially assumed. On the other side of the Atlantic, the corn contracts went more clearly south. The USDA's weekly inventory development and crop progress report ended the corn rally of the past few days. 64 percent of US holdings are rated top grades. Market participants had expected a more significant correction due to the heat wave. Little has changed in the weather forecast in the Corn Belt. It is expected to remain hot and dry for the remainder of this week.
