Corn with a tailwind - but red signs

Corn also gave way in yesterday's trading session on both sides of the Atlantic. Initially, the signs were positive, but with the falling wheat prices, corn contracts also slipped into the red. The USDA estimates for Brazil and Argentina had a limiting effect. As a result of the drought, the ministry reduced the harvest volume in its WASDE report by 1 percent for Argentina and 2.5% for Brazil. However, the grain exchange in Argentina continues to expect a record harvest of 57 million tons.
