As with wheat, corn prices in Paris also trended south. The first ship that left Ukraine yesterday left with a cargo of corn. The most traded November date lost EUR 8.00 per tonne yesterday and closed at EUR 320.25 per tonne. Little has changed in the European weather forecast, but local precipitation has helped. There are also signs of milder weather in the Corn Belt. The courses at the CBoT then came under pressure. With a shipment of 850,000 tons of corn last week, market participants were also disappointed by the export figures. Compared to the same week last year, the decrease in weekly shipments was 600,000 tons. Pre-market, the eCBoT shows marginally weaker prices today. The December date loses 5 US cents/bu (-0.82%) by 8:30 a.m. The other contracts are also slightly negative.
