Prices in Paris rose yesterday. Despite Ukrainian corn exports, November rose by EUR 3/t to EUR 323.25. However, this did not make up for Monday's losses. The recent weather forecasts are responsible for the increase. A heat wave is already looming in France and temperatures of up to 35 degrees are expected today in many regions of Germany, especially in the southwest and east as far as Poland. Tomorrow, with the exception of the North Sea region and the Netherlands, up to 38 degrees could be warm. There's no rain in sight. At the CBoT, contracts went down significantly. Better condition ratings than expected by the market are weighing on. However, the main reason for yesterday's bearish sentiment was US Democrat Pelosi's visit to Taiwan, which made US markets overall very nervous. Slight gains are showing pre-market today. The September contract is currently 3 US cents/bu up.
