Corona in Russia: 173 trucks with 4,500 tons of wheat are stuck in front of Novorossiisk

Russian trucks that want to transport 4,500 tons of grain to the Novorossiisk Black Sea port for export have been stuck since Friday because of the Corona crisis.
In Russia, according to official information, 4,149 people are infected with the virus. 34 people died of lung disease, much less than in Western Europe.
Regional government officials are currently refusing 173 trucks to enter the export port. The drivers should apply for a pass. Ships are now being delayed and exporters are making losses. Russia exports wheat all over the world from the deep-water port of Novorossiisk in the south of the Krasnodar region.
Russia has not yet adopted a decision to limit wheat exports. So far, it only means that a quota of 7 million tons of wheat is targeted for April-June.
President Vladimir Putin had left the regional governments in a television speech last Thursday on how to combat the spread of the corona virus. Parts of the Krasnodar region are under quarantine. If you want to enter, you need a pass.
