For the first time since August 2017, institutional investors are net long again for SRW wheat in Chicago. As a result, the majority of institutional investors believe that by 8 May 2018, the majority (albeit minimally) of rising prices. This group of investors, which includes banks, mutual funds and insurance companies, increased their share of CBoT SRW wheat long positions by 9,703 lots during the week from 01.05 - 08.05.18 while reducing short positions by 23,325 contracts.
