The crop monitoring service of the European Union (MARS) has raised its forecast of soft wheat yields of the crop by 2015 in the EU due to good growing conditions of 5.89 tonnes per hectare (past month) 5.93 tons per hectare increased to. The forecast is 2.4% after the result of the harvest of 2014, but 4.8% over the 5-year average.
The prognosis of barley yields (summer - and winter barley) was also increased. It is located with 4.75 tons per hectare slightly above the previous month forecast of 4.71 acres per tonne. During the rape, the forecast was also increased from 3.35 tons per hectare on 3.42 tons per hectare.
