With the Russian troops invading Ukraine and the associated restrictions on export business and shipments, many traders in the USA are hoping for a significant increase in US exports. However, Russia in particular is trying to maintain its export business. In Ukraine, only the quantities already loaded can be processed. All other work is at a standstill due to the situation. So far, however, US exports have increased significantly less than many market participants had hoped and expected. Exports are currently well below the level of recent years. A total of 13.23 million tons were exported this season. In the previous year, the value was 16.82 million tons.
