Dutch people buy feed wheat in southern Germany

Wheat rose again on the Paris stock exchange yesterday. After significant increases in the early afternoon, when trade peaked at 241.25 euros/t for the December date, at the closing bell there was a settlement of 238.50 euros/t and thus a daily profit of 1.25 euros/t on the scoreboard. Prices for bread and feed wheat also rose on the cash markets. Dutch traders in particular are currently active in Germany and demand feed wheat; the domestic feed industry is still largely supplied and demands goods on a manageable scale. Ukraine has announced that it will file a lawsuit with the World Trade Organization (WTO) against Hungary and Poland. She wants to take action against national import bans on up to 25 Ukrainian agricultural goods. However, this act is viewed more symbolically, as the Ministry of Agriculture in Kiev has simultaneously announced that it will concentrate its exports to western EU states. The recent decline in wheat prices on the export market has led to increased demand. Egypt according to reports on episode 120.000 tons of wheat were purchased in Romania, Algeria is also active on the world market with a tender of an unknown amount; there is speculation about a volume of around 240,000 tons. The latest statements from the US Federal Reserve Bank also pushed the euro below the USD 1.07 mark for a second time, which promises to give Europe's exporters competitive advantages. On the CBoT, the contracts also closed more firmly with little news, but today they are trending weaker again in the premarket. Updated export bookings for the US are expected today.
