The Leipzig futures exchange today calculated the index for processed potatoes at 4.9 € / dt. A plus of 40 cents compared to the previous week.
The largest increase is in the Netherlands, where spot market prices are now at 6.25 € / dt. In the past week, the potato prices there rose by 1.18 € / dt. Holland is leading the way in four rounds.
It follows, as so often in earlier times, Germany with 5.8 € / dt (Vw .: 5.89). A slight fall in price last week.
The potato prices Belgium (3.93 € / dt) and France (3.80 € / dt) remain far behind. But even there, prices rose, although the listed variety Bintje still difficult to sell.
