The EEX Potato Index rose today by another 40 cents to € 5.30 / dt.
The largest increase was posted by the processing raw material in Germany. 83 cents were added to the previous week. Thus, the German potatoes contribute with 6,63 € / dt to the market pointer of the Leipzig futures exchange.
The highest prices of € 6.78 / dt can be found in the four signatures but still in Holland, where this week a rise of 53 cents was reported.
The Bintje prices in Belgium (4.05 € / dt) and France 3.8 € / dt are further down.
The futures exchange is the April-18 to the hour with 6.1 € / dt.
Because the trade for the most busy April-18 date already on 26.04. ends, the spot market prices in the last two index calculations would have to rise by a further 80 cents.
The June 18 appointment ends its trading on 31st May and the price there is already sustainable over 9 € / dt.
