Egypt's state grain purchaser GASC has not received any offers to tender for the purchase of an unspecified quantity of wheat of optional origin for delivery in February.
Dealers seem to hesitate because disagreements over moorings payments are not resolved. In recent months, there have been costs of delays in handling shipments. Apparently it is unclear who will pay for these costs. It was also speculated that the state grain buyer GASC breaks off the tender. GASC itself did not comment on this.
