Egypt's GASC tendered a tender last night to purchase an indefinite amount of wheat for the June 15 - June 25 delivery period. Wanted wheat from the known surplus regions. The offer ends today at noon and results should be published from the early evening. Most recently, Egypt purchased 355,000 tonnes of Russian wheat and 120,000 tonnes of Romanian-sourced wheat for the period 28 April - 8 May at prices ranging from $ 217.00 - $ 219.65 / ton FOB and $ 233.18 - $ 235.50 respectively / Ton of c & f.
