Egypt: Most favorable offer came from Ukraine

The cheapest offer received by Egypt's state buyer GASC in response to yesterday's tender to buy an unspecified quantity of wheat was $231.77 per tonne FOB for 60,000 tons of wheat of Ukrainian origin.
On a C&F basis (incl. freight), the cheapest offer was $245.50 per tonne for 60,000 tons of Russian origin. This was followed by offers from Romania ($245.59; $245.80)
Wheat of French origin (60,000 tons) was offered by trading house Glencore for $249.48 per ton C&F.
Wheat from the United States and South America was not offered.
