Egypt's commodity buyer GASC launched a tender for the purchase of an unspecified quantity of wheat yesterday evening. Deliveries are to take place between February 18 and 29.
They are looking for soft wheat and/or milling wheat with a minimum quantity of approx. 55,000 - 60,000 tons per offer. The prices are to be divided into "parity fob" and freight. The result of the tender is expected this afternoon. Egypt last bought 355,000 tons of wheat of Russian, Romanian, Ukrainian and French origin on December 10 for the beginning of February.
