Ethanol production is increasing

The signs for corn were green yesterday Wednesday. The November date closed 4.00 euros higher at 205.25 euros/t. The March contract, which is now the most traded, also gained and closed with a profit of 3 euros at 210.25 euros/t. The grain maize harvest has come in in many regions, and the pressure to harvest is decreasing accordingly. At the CBoT we also went north. The contracts had lost value over the last three trading days. Ethanol production increased noticeably and at the same time inventories fell by 416,000 barrels. However, development is being slowed by the rapid US corn harvest. Yesterday, corn prices on both sides of the Atlantic were supported by positive developments in wheat prices.
