Ethiopia's Government has announced an international tender for the purchase of 400,000 tons of milling wheat. The offer period ends on Thursday.
Wheat of optional origin on the harvest year 2014/15 with a protein content is searched by 12%. The shipment is scheduled in July and August. Offers should be made based on c & f and have a validity of 15 days.
"This is the largest tender in Ethiopia for years", so a European dealer. "Usually are the tenders of around 70,000 tonnes. The currently low level of prices seems to be attractive for Ethiopia", so the dealer.
