In its monthly report, the EU Commission has reduced the forecast of EU wheat production 2018/19 from 141.5 million tonnes to 140.3 million tonnes. The forecast for EU wheat exports remained unchanged at 27 million tonnes and for the marketing year 2017/18 it was reduced from 23 million tonnes to 21 million tonnes.
The forecasts for barley production in 2018/19 were also slightly reduced from 61.3 million tonnes to 61 million tonnes and corn production in 2018/19 from 64 million tonnes to 63.9 million tonnes and rapeseed production2018 / 19 from 22.6 Million tonnes to 21.7 million tonnes.
