The European Commission granted export licenses for 870,000 tons of wheat in the last reporting period. With a total 30,104 million tons, wheat export licenses are only 568.000 tons behind the results of the previous year at the same time of 30,672 million tons in the current marketing year. The licences issued for wheat imports amounted to 21,000 tonnes and in the current marketing year to total 3.28 million tons.
