The European Union gave corn this week import licenses for 166,000 tons of maize and export licenses for 126,000 tons. In the current marketing year amounted to the imports of maize on a total 8,193 million metric tons (comparison period previous year: 13,048 million tons) and exports to a total of 3,069 million tonnes (comparison period last year: 2,409 million tons).
