EU import and export licenses for corn

Import licences issued the European Commission in maize in the week up to the 16.08.16 for 141,000 tonnes. With a total of 1.136.000 tonnes, maize import licenses are slightly over the result of the previous year at the same time (1.087.000 tons) in the current marketing year. The licences issued for corn exports amounted to 13,000 tons and in the current marketing year, on a total of 165,000 tonnes.
