EU imported 48% more rapeseed

Soybean imports into the EU in the 2019/20 season, which started on July 1, amounted to 11.27 million tons by April 12. This shows the official EU statistics.
That is 3% less than in the same period last year.
Rapeseed imports amounted to 5.06 million tons, 48% more than a year ago.
Soybean meal imports are said to be 14.08 million tons, an increase of 4%. Palm oil imports fell 16% to 4.33 million tons.
The figures given still include Great Britain, which left the EU in January.
