EU increases import tariffs for corn

The EU Commission has now raised its tariffs on corn, rye and millet imports from € 5.27 to € 10.4 / tonne.
This regulation has been in effect since yesterday.
Duty-free imports ended on April 27 after US corn prices dropped to a 10-year low.
