In the week ending April 10, wheat exports from the European Union reached a volume of 15.25 million tonnes in the current marketing year 2017/18. That's a 24% drop compared to exports at the same time last year.
Barley was exported on April 10 in a volume of 4.6 million tons (previous year: 4.2 million tons), an increase of 8%.
Maize imports are currently 13.4 million tonnes, 47% higher than last year, when 9.1 million tonnes of corn were imported at the same time.
