EU wheat exports 70% up on the previous year

The EU's common wheat exports in the current marketing year 2019/20 (July to June) reached a volume of 18.01 million tonnes as of February 16, according to official data from the EU Commission.
The export volume is 70% above the level reached on February 10, 2019. At 4.63 million tons, the increase in gesture exports was 52% above the previous year. In contrast, corn imports fell by 10% to 13.65 million tons.
