The latest data from the EU Commission showed that wheat exports totaled 27.5 million tons in the past 21/22 season. The previous year's value was just missed (-200,000 tons). The main customers were Algeria, Egypt and Nigeria. A volume of 16.4 million tons was reached in maize imports. In the previous year the value was 15.22 million tons. Barley exports have been declining in recent months and reached 6.97 million tons by the end of the marketing year, which is 440,000 tons below the level of the previous year. Rye reached 1.43 million tons and is thus also below the previous year's level of 1.48 million tons.
