In the week ending April 3, the EU's wheat exports reached a volume of 14.5 million tonnes in the 2017/18 marketing year. That's 25% down on exports at the same time last year. Barley was exported in a volume of 4.4 million tonnes on 3 April (previous year: 4.1 million tonnes), an increase of 7%. Corn imports are currently 13.2 million tonnes, 51% higher than last year, when 8.75 million tonnes of corn were imported at the same time.
