The European Commission granted export licenses for 633.000 tonnes of wheat in the last reporting period. With a total of 28.86 million tons, wheat export licenses are only 935.000 tons behind the result of 29,795 million tons last year in the current marketing year. The licences issued for wheat imports amounted to 36,000 tons and in the current marketing year on a total of 3,218 million tonnes.
