European traders today announced export transactions for a volume of 564,000 tonnes of common wheat for the week ending 29/05/18. Soft wheat exports thus increase to 18.59 million tonnes in the current marketing year 2017/18 (previous year: 22.79 million tonnes). Together with wheat flour, durum and durum meal, exports totaled 20.29 million tonnes in the marketing year 2017/18 versus 25.12 million tonnes at the same time in the 2016/17 marketing period.
Barley has so far been exported in a volume of 5.1 million tonnes (+ 1% yoy). The corn imports climb on 29.05. to 15.8 million tons. One year ago it was 11.2 million tons.
