By September 27, 2022, the 27 EU countries had exported a total of 8.80 million tons of soft wheat to third countries. With a volume of around 1.26 million tons, Algeria is the biggest buyer this season. Morocco ordered 1.13 million tons in Europe in the first thirteen weeks of the marketing year. The largest exporter is still France with a quantity of 3.35 million tons. Romania is in second place in the EU export list with around 1.38 million tons and Germany takes third place in the export statistics, ahead of Bulgaria with a share of 912,836 tons. Barley exports are below the level of the previous year. Of the total of 2.0 million tons exported, 508,273 tons come from Germany. Here, too, France is the largest exporter of the 27 EU countries.
