The Euronext has its first time on 25.04. published the COT report for wheat, maize and rapeseed. Data from week 16 (16.04.18 - 20.04.18) were considered. Since there are no comparative values, a rating is difficult.
The report for Wheat shows that the group of commercial undertakings, ie companies that engage in hedging transactions, account for 67% of the "open interest", while the share of investment firms or credit institutions, investment funds and other financial institutions is at 15.5%. However, only a total of 82% of open positions covered in the report.
In Chicago, the percentage of open positions held by commercial operators in the Soft Red Winter contract is 45%.
