Institutional investors increased their stock of futures and options on Euronext wheat from 15,182 lots to 24,173 lots last week. This is shown by the report published today by Euronext for the fifth time.
The group of non-commercial participants, ie investment funds, banks, insurance companies and the like, continues to bet on rising prices.
The group of "Commercial Participants", including Hedger, increased the stock of net short positions from 17,900 lots to 22,035 lots. This group has a share of 59.43% in the open contract portfolio (previous week: 57.98%).
The proportion of non-commercial participants, on the other hand, holds a significantly smaller share of the open contract portfolio of 19.38% (previous week: 19.79%).
