Euronext: Institutional investors reduce net long wheat stocks

Institutional investors reduced their holdings from 102,679 net long positions on futures and options (as of November 13) in the week ended November 13 to 87,995 net long positions. It is the fourth consecutive reduction in net long positions. The vast majority of investors in this group are still bullish. This is shown by the COT report published yesterday by Euronext. The group of "non-commercial participants" includes investment funds, banks and insurance companies.
The group of “commercial participants”, including hedgers, increased their holdings of net short positions from 116,408 to 110,183 contracts.
Commercial participants hold 69.8% of the total short positions and 52.8% of the total long positions.
Non-commercial participants hold 29.5% of the total short positions and 44.7% of the total long positions.
In rapeseed, the non-commercial participants increased the number of Rapssaat futures and options from 11,305 to 15,463 net long contracts.
Commercial participants increased their share of net short positions from 13,168 to 17,889 contracts.
