Euronext: Institutional investors reduce net long wheat stocks again

Institutional investors reduced their holdings from 104,786 net long positions on futures and options (as of November 6th) in the week ended November 13th to 102,679 net long positions. The vast majority of investors in this group remain bullish. This is shown by the COT report published today by Euronext. The group of "non-commercial participants" includes investment funds, banks and insurance companies.
The group of “Commercial Participants”, including hedgers, reduced its portfolio of net short positions minimally from 117,567 to 116,408 contracts.
Commercial participants hold 68.4% of the total short positions and 52.0% of the total long positions.
Non-commercial participants hold 31.3% of the total short positions and 47.5% of the total long positions.
The report accounts for 99.7% of the open short positions and 99.5% of the open long positions in wheat futures.
In rapeseed, the non-commercial participants are reducing the number of rapeseed futures and options from 12,123 to 11,305 net long contracts.
Commercial participants reduced their share of net short positions from 13,416 to 13,168 contracts.
