European Commission issued export licenses for 490,000 tons of wheat

The European Commission granted export licenses for 490,000 tons of wheat in the last reporting period. With a total of 31,149 million tonnes, wheat export licenses are only 188,000 tons behind the results of the previous year at the same time of 31,337 million tons in the current marketing year. The licences issued for wheat imports amounted to 60,000 tons and in the current marketing year on a total of 3,395 million tonnes.
