The crop-monitoring service of the EU MARS has raised its forecast of the average corn yields 2016 7.23 tonnes / ha reduced. In July had been expected even with yields of 7.42 tons per hectare. For the reduction of income, the dry weather conditions are basic in the EU in July. The new forecast is further 14.8% higher than the result of the previous year and 4.4% over the five-year average.
The forecast of the average soft wheat yields in the EU was also reduced. It is located at 5.86 tonnes / ha (previous month: 6.10 tons / ha). The forecast for France was reduced to 6.56 tons / ha (previous month: 7,37 tons / ha). Thus, it is 11% below the five-year average.
At the gesture, the forecast of the EU was reduced to 4.88 tons / ha (previous month: 4.99 tons / ha).
The forecast of the rape seed harvest was reduced from 3.22 tons / ha to 3.20 tons / ha.
