For corn in Paris, the new trading week started with a green sign. The front month increased by EUR 3.50/ton to EUR 319/ton. On the other side of the Pacific, the scoreboards for corn futures also turned green. The most traded May rose by $15.50 US cents/bushel and thus costs the equivalent of EUR 269.98/ton. In particular, the reports of a large export deal gave the bulls fodder yesterday. In addition, US traders are hoping that the continuing war in Ukraine will stimulate demand and increase business. In the Ukraine, there are said to be 13 million tons of corn still in storage. When these can be loaded is still more than unclear.
