The prices for feedstuffs on the cash markets continue to rise. The prices for wheat, which have risen again recently, and above all the soybean meal prices on the CBoT are further raising the price level. Many animal feeds are at record highs. Layer feed has increased in price by 39.9% over the last 12 months. Pre-fattening feed for fattening pigs increased in price by 19.12% in the same period.
