Fertilizer prices drop

Fertilizer prices were also cheaper at the start of 2023. For example, urea and nitrate of calcium ammonium have fallen significantly since October in particular. At the beginning of October 2022, prices for calcium ammonium nitrate with 27% nitrogen were between 83.00 and 88.90 euros per dt ex land storage, the trading range in the first week of January was given as 62.50 to 66.20 euros/dt. Only Kornkali proved to be more stable compared to other fertilizers. The lower energy prices but also a significantly reduced demand from agriculture have recently caused prices to fall. Nevertheless, prices are still well above the level of previous years.
