In the Ukraine, a slightly improved forecast is expected for the current spring sowing season. Analysts expect an occupied area of 14.2. million hectares, which corresponds to around 80% of the planned area before the outbreak of war. However, many experts emphasize that it is questionable whether the earnings level of the previous year can be maintained. In many regions there is a lack of fertilizers and fuel for field work. Furthermore, attempts are being made to transfer export business to rail transport.
