France: 47% of winter wheat stocks are harvested

In France, farmers had already harvested 47% of winter wheat as of July 13th. This is a sharp increase from the previous week, when the harvest progress was 11%, reports the French agricultural consultancy FranceAgriMer. At the same time last year, 26% of the crops were harvested.
The winter barley harvest is 90% complete, compared to 65% in the previous week. Spring barley is harvested on 22% of the areas (previous week: 10%). In addition, the Durum harvest is 81% complete (previous week: 36%).
The state of corn stocks in France has deteriorated somewhat. As of July 13, 82% of the holdings received the top rating "good to excellent" from FranceAgriMer, compared to 83% in the previous week.
