France: Around half of the corn stocks in France have been harvested

As of October 5th, French farmers cultivated 6% of the land planned for winter wheat sowing. This is what the French agricultural consultancy FranceAgriMer reported this morning in its weekly report. In the past week and also a year ago at the same time, the sowing progress was 3%. Winter barley is sown in France on 5% of the planned area (previous week: 4%). Meanwhile, France's maize harvest is advancing. 49% of the crops were harvested as of October 5th, last week the harvest progressed at 33%.
