France: Corn ratings declining sharply.

The condition of the corn stocks in France has deteriorated significantly over the past week. This is what the French agricultural consultancy FranceAgriMer reports in its weekly report today. Accordingly, the corn plants suffered severely from the heat wave and the dry weather. As of August 10, only 65% of the maize crops received the top rating of “good to excellent”. That is a decrease of 9% compared to the previous week, when 74% of the stocks received the top rating.
The wheat harvest in France has now been completed. After 99% in the previous week, it was reported on August 10th that the harvest was 100% done.
The summer barley harvest is almost complete. 99% of the stocks are harvested, in the previous week it was 83%.
