France: Estimates for intra-EU wheat exports cut by 100,000 tonnes

The French Department of Agriculture's statistics bureau is lowering its expectation for intra-EU wheat exports in the 2018/19 season from 7.9 million tonnes to 7.8 million tonnes.
In its monthly report on supply and demand, which appeared today on the homepage, exports to non-EU countries remained unchanged compared to the previous month at an unchanged 8.75 million tons.
The final stocks of common wheat in France for the 2018/19 season will therefore be 2.5 million tonnes. In October, 2.4 million tonnes were still expected.
The maize stocks at the end of the 2018/19 season also remain at the previous month's estimate of 2 million tonnes. Similarly, the final stocks for barley, which remain at 1.1 million tonnes.
